What is a Playlist?

A playlist allows you to create a program or a sequence of videos and optionally an assessment or exam at the end.

Playlists have their own navigational options as follows:

Enable Navigation – creates an overall menu presenting the playlist path of videos to the viewer

Enable Resume – bookmarking

Show Time – shows time for each video in the playlist

Allow Free Navigation – allows the viewer to click on a title in the playlist menu to jump to that video

Disable Ratings – hides the star rating feature that appears on the end page of the last video or assessment in the playlist

Return to portal on completion – if accessing the playlist via the included portal, the playlist closes and returns to portal upon completion.

Notes: Playlists should not include branching or jumping outside of each video.

If you wish to create a certification program or automated training with notifications, a playlist is required.

The playlist feature detects a viewer’s completion of each video in the playlist. When a viewer resumes a playlist, it will skip completed content.
